By creating an account or using Mixit, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 14 years old (or have verifiable parental consent) to use Mixit.
Mixit is a recipe discovery and cooking companion app. Depending on your plan, features include: recipe browsing and filtering, step-by-step cooking guides with photos, personalised meal planning, and automatic shopping list generation. Some features require a paid subscription ("Mixit Pro").
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it promptly if it changes. You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.
Mixit Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase, billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Prices are displayed including VAT. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store / Google Play subscription settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Where you obtain Mixit Pro through the Apple App Store, the following terms apply to your auto-renewable subscription, in line with Apple's requirements:
Use of Mixit obtained through the App Store is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA in respect of an App Store purchase, the Standard EULA governs to the extent of the conflict. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for Mixit or its content.
Where you obtain Mixit Pro through Google Play, payment is charged to your Google account at confirmation of purchase; the subscription renews automatically for the same period unless cancelled before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel it at any time in Google Play › Subscriptions; and Google Play's refund policy applies to refund requests.
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of subscription purchase. Because purchases are billed through Apple or Google, refund requests are handled by the store you purchased from: for Apple, via reportaproblem.apple.com; for Google Play, via your order history. You can also contact us at support@mixit.app and we will help you with the process. Because Mixit Pro is digital content delivered immediately, by starting a subscription or free trial you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once access has been provided (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU); the store's own refund policy continues to apply.
All recipes, images, text, and other content on Mixit are our property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit our content without written permission. User-submitted content (such as recipe notes) remains your intellectual property, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and display it within the Mixit platform for you.
You agree not to post content that is: illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable; infringing on intellectual property rights; spam, advertising, or solicitation; or misleading or deceptive. We operate a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users: you can report any review or block an abusive user, and reported content and the accounts responsible are reviewed and acted upon (including content removal and account termination) within 24 hours. By using community features you accept these terms, which incorporate the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) where the app is obtained through the App Store. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.
Mixit provides recipe suggestions and ingredient information. Any allergen information shown is a best-effort guide derived from the listed ingredient names — it is not a guaranteed or complete declaration of the 14 EU-regulated allergens, and may miss or misidentify an allergen. You are ultimately responsible for: verifying ingredients meet your specific health, dietary, and allergy requirements; always checking product labels when you shop; and consulting a healthcare professional if you have food allergies or intolerances. Mixit is not a substitute for medical or nutritional advice.
We aim to keep Mixit available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance will be performed, where possible, outside peak usage hours.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mixit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, without regard to conflict of law principles. For EU consumers: you retain the protection of mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Disputes may be submitted to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, we erase your personal data immediately and permanently, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records). We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms, with reasonable notice where possible.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your account before they take effect.
